Indie Author Fringe is a three-times a year, online conference for self-publishing authors, brought to you by the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi), fringe to the major global publishing fairs, and I’m one of the co-organizers. We bring together the most up-to-date self-publishing education and information available and broadcasts it to authors everywhere.

How to be a Part-Time Author and Get Full-Time Results

For this event I’m joining forces with my ALLi podcast co-host Michael La Ronn to present a session at the October 14th Indie Author Fringe event for Frankfurt Book Fair.

Are you an author stuck working a 9-5? In this session for beginning authors, Michael and Jay will show you how you can thrive as a part-time author, even if you have a full-time job. In this info-packed session, you’ll learn how to create writing systems that produce consistent words day after day, the right tools to make the most of your limited time, and how to develop a support system to keep you going during the hard times. Even if you only have just a few minutes a day to write your next novel, you’ll walk away from this session with the strategies to help you write better, write faster, and build the foundation for your self-publishing business in record time.

We recorded our audio on Monday and I’m just putting the finishing touches together on the slides and then we’ll be set to roll on Saturday.

The agenda for the event consists of 24-hours of events that will be released hourly starting at 10am Frankfurt time. The theme for this event is running an indie author business, and it’s aimed at writers and authors who want to make a business out of being an author and self-publishing.The agenda is full of well known and best selling authors who have taken that leap-of-faith to become a full-time author, and share their lessons-learnt and expertise with the Fringe audience for free.
