There are so many different eReaders out there, and even more versions of software, it's best to keep your internal ebook design as simple as possible. But, whatever you do, don't get suckered into paying hundreds of dollars to have your book formatted.

How we work together

1. Provide me with your proofread source files (internal content and cover file), and we will work together to format a professional looking ebook you're proud to be the author of.
2. You can review some Vellum formatting options and examples here on this website (in the process of being updated), so if you know what you're looking forward we can use that as the foundation of the design. If you don't have any preferences for your internal design, I'll choose an internal layout based of other published books in your niche, and send you a sample.
3. I'll deliver a first draft for your input, and incorporate any changes you would like.
4. I'll deliver a second draft that you should proofread for accuracy.
5. When the design has been finalized I'll provide you with the following e-book versions: ePUB (and MOBI if you require) for Amazon Kindle, Generic ePUB, Barnes & Noble ePUB version, Nook ePUB, and Apple iBooks ePUB.

There's no limit to the amount of tweaks you're allowed, as I want to make sure your 100% happy with the end design of your book.

I use professional book formatting software to format your ebook (not Microsoft Word), and will format your book for a one-time fee of $79 for books without content images (images associated with front and backmatter are included in this fee).

Included in this price is a PDF file that can be used for IngramSpark and Kindle Direct Publishing. Just let me know your trim size and I'll generate your print version file from Vellum based on your eBook.

Books with internal content images are quoted on request, but are still extremely competitive.

I also offer custom Paperback book formatting using iStudio Design (similar to InDesign). Price Quote provided on request, based on the complexity of the design.
