Great notebook for capturing travel guide notes

Miquelrius 8.25 X 11.75 A4 Wirebound Notebook, 6-Subject, Graph Paper, Black

Do you carry a notebook with you?

I always have a notebook on me. Even in this digital age of note taking apps on a smartphone and my laptop nearly always within easy reach, there’s nothing like the feel of capturing thoughts and ideas with good old fashioned paper and pen.

When I’m researching my travel guides I favour the Miquelrius wirebound notebook. I usually use the 6-subject version (with six subsections with a different colour), but it also comes in an 8-subject version. These colour-coded sections make it easy to organise your content when you’re on the road, and find the notes you’re looking for when you’re back at your computer.

I use this book to capture names and addresses, and details of travel locations, and the pages with graph squares are ideal for drawing small maps.

These books with their polypropylene cover are very hardwearing and great for stuffing in a bag to have on hand wherever you travel.

I’m about to embark on a cross-country Amtrak trip from New York to Los Angeles, and will be stopping in Chicago and at the Grand Canyon on the way, and will be putting this book through its paces. I’ll add some images of how I used this notebook when I get to La La land.
